Father Browne is recognized as one of the most important photographers of the twentieth century. As a passenger on the first two legs of the Titanic’s ill-fated maiden voyage, he documented the journey with photographs of the ship, its passengers and other memorabilia, leaving us with a unique record of this magnificent ship that would otherwise have been lost, when the unthinkable happened and the Titanic sank.
To commemorate the 110th anniversary of the tragedy, a new, revised edition of this fascinating album has been published, including historically accurate, colourised photographs and updated text.
