Following his very successful volume for Year C, Fr Donal Neary SJ has produced a second volume of Gospel Reflections for the Sundays of Year A of the liturgical year, based on the Gospel of Matthew. These could be used to prepare for Mass, or to reflect on the reading after Mass. They are also an ideal resource for parish clergy in preparing homilies.

Donal Neary SJ, editor of The Sacred Heart Messenger,  was formerly parish priest at St Francis Xavier’s, Gardiner Street, Dublin, and chaplain at Mater Dei Institute of Education. Fr Neary has drawn on his long experience of pastoral work in Dublin to put together these reflections, and as a result they are always relevant to everyday life.
