The Messenger and Messenger Publications are constantly looking at ways to work for the benefit of the environment. One of our biggest challenges is the use of paper which is why from the January 2009 edition of The Messenger we are using Forest Stewardship Council (FSC) approved paper stocks.
The Forest Stewardship Council is an independent, non-governmental, not for profit organization established to promote the responsible management of the world’s forests. Products carrying the FSC label are independently certified to assure consumers that they come from forests that are managed to meet the social, economic and ecological needs of present and future generations.
The Messenger also promotes recycling where possible with recycling bins in all offices.
